# Will my existing HX-upgraded camera be affected?

No, if your camera already has an HX license installed and activated, it will continue to work as expected and is still part of the NDI ecosystem. If your camera is factory reset, loses firmware, or replaced due to warranty failure, the license can be transferred to a viable replacement camera- please contact your camera manufacturer for assistance in that case.&#x20;
