# Why won't MacOS Sonoma (14.1) recognize NDI Tools as a virtual camera?

{% hint style="info" %}
This issue maybe resolved for some users as of the [NDI 6.1 ](/all/getting-started/release-notes.md)release.
{% endhint %}

After updating to MacOS Sonoma, you may notice that Virtual Input is no longer a recognized source as a webcam in your software as Apple has turned off a feature called "legacy camera support".
