# How long does the certification process take?

​The typical HX3 certification can take **2-4 weeks**.  This can be expedited by following the guidelines and pre-submitting your product for approval.  Different products will vary time for approval, NDI advises that as soon as you know a product is in development you bring us in as early as possible so that the process is faster.
