# NDI HX License Upgrades

## **What is changing with NDI camera upgrades?**

As of **December 31, 2025**, NDI has discontinued the availability of standalone camera upgrades. NDI will no longer offers standalone camera upgrades. This change will enables us to continue to simplify licensing and increase interoperability across the NDI ecosystem.

By embedding NDI directly into more manufacturer products, users benefit from more consistent, reliable, and seamless connectivity, all without the need for separate upgrades or downloads
