After installing the NDI Virtual Input app and its Camera Extension on macOS, you may find that you still can't view your streams when selecting the virtual NDI Camera.
A common issue that results by having multiple versions of the NDI Camera Extension installed on your machine, below are instructions on how to fix it:
Download the latest NDI Tools version from our website and install it on your computer.
Open NDI Virtual Input once more and instead of clicking 'Install Camera Extension', start by uninstalling the existing Camera Extensions:
Click 'Settings' on the menu bar, followed by Uninstall Camera Extension.
This step is important because your machine might have multiple versions of the NDI Camera Extension installed and running at the same time, which may cause issues with your system's ability to detect streams on the NDI virtual camera.
Open NDI Virtual Input and proceed with the initial setup steps by installing a fresh version of the NDI virtual Camera Extension.
This process should help by removing old versions of the NDI Virtual Camera Extension from your computer and leaving only the most recent version in place. If you are still running into issues, reach out to our support team and they will help you with a solution.
